Episode 1 – Aarhus University

This episode presents AU’s work on green enzymatic technologies to functionalise hydrocarbons derived from polyethylene waste, enabling sustainable conversion into valuable building blocks for biodegradable plastics.

Episode 2 – Utrecht University

Utrecht University focuses on heterogeneous catalysis to break down polyethylene into defined hydrocarbon fractions, supporting the production of tailored intermediates for new polymer materials.

Episode 3 – University of Münster

The University of Münster develops microbial cell factories to convert polyethylene-derived compounds into diacids and dialcohols, essential building blocks for biodegradable polymers.

The CNRS team works on polymer synthesis, transforming ACTPAC-derived monomers into new polyesters and developing scalable materials from plastic waste streams.
